On this day, a legend was born. Born Christopher Wallace, The Notorious B.I.G contributed to the hip-hop industry immensely. When your favorite artist is asked their biggest influences, Biggie’s name is always in that number. It’s been 22 years since he was gunned down and the hip-hop community is still in shambles — especially with the loss of Nipsey Hussle .
Biggie and Nipsey’s deaths remind us to cherish our legends and give them their flowers while they are still here. If Biggie were alive today, he would be turning 47 years old.
