American tennis legend Andre Agassi had his share of successes and failures in his two-decades-old career. He was once ranked the top player in the world and won eight Grand Slam titles in his career.

However, on the flip side, Agassi was also struggling with his personal life. He had gone through a divorce, had anger issues, and had also confessed to his addiction to crystal meth.

But despite all the problems, Agassi not only survived but won accolades and was also inducted into the Tennis Hall of Fame in 2011. During his induction speech, Agassi talked about hitting rock bottom and spending some time there.

The tennis legend was as emotional as ever as he recalled his struggles and then his way up. While it might have been just a part of a long speech for Agassi, they are nothing less than words of wisdom for his daughter, Jaz Agassi. As per her Instagram story, she seems to be taking lessons from her father’s speech.

Jaz shared a story on Instagram on Tuesday. It had a reel showing Agassi’s struggles with his emotional induction speech playing in the background. Although she did not write any caption describing how she felt about it, the reel was enough to depict her feelings.

This is not the first time Jaz has shared a video clip involving her father. Most recently, she also shared clips of Agassi’s legacy match with Roger Federer

Andre Agassi’s redemption came with Steffi Graf

While Andre Agassi talked about spending some time at rock bottom, the American has often talked about his redemption and has openly credited his wife Steffi Graf for it. The eight-time Grand Slam champion had revealed how Graf saying yes to his marriage proposal was his highest point.

Back in 2017, Agassi talked about the influence Graf had on him. The American tennis ace talked about their chemistry and how he never felt the need to explain it to him.

She was the hardest to win…when Steffi Graf says yes, it’s as close to arriving. If you lose, you don’t have to explain what you’re feeling; she (Graf) knows it. On the good days, it’s the same. The pride is felt.

Notably, Agassi and Graf have been happily married for over two decades. The tennis couple still enjoys the same chemistry, and it is evident through their social media posts as well as during public appearances.
