WATCH: Raw Superstar smashes a Jacksonville Jaguars guitar on the stage ahead of their clash with th

Last night at the Cleveland Browns stadium, formerly known as the FirstEnergy Stadium, the home team locked horns with the Jacksonville Jaguars. In a neck-and-neck tussle, the Cleveland Browns edged out the Jaguars by a final scoreline of 31-27. Thanks to Joe Flacco for a trifecta of touchdowns that eventually guided his side to cross the line. But before the match even started, WWE Raw Superstar Johnny Gargano had some fun.

He came cavorting right through the tunnel, draped in Cleveland Browns colors. As soon as he reached a certain pedestal, Gargano unpacked a guitar bag. It turned out to be the one the Jacksonville Jaguars would own. He smashed it on the stage to get the crowd going. Needless to say, it was a huge moment for Johnny Wrestling to get the honors for leading the baton in pre-match festivities.

Some eagle-eyed fans did catch what Johnny Gargano was up to. He slammed the Jaguars-themed guitar and the team is owned by AEW CEO Tony Khan‘s father, Shahid Khan. Though it shouldn’t be taken as something like a punch at AEW, it was just an interesting observation, to say the least. As of late, WWE has augmented the presence of their superstars at the Sunday Night Football games.

Last week, Liv Morgan was at Lambeau Field to show her love for the Green Bay Packers. Just like Morgan, former NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano was a cardinal point during the Browns vs. Jaguars. The WWE-NFL crossovers have picked up a lot of steam ever since the Stamford-based promotion inked a multi-year deal with the Big 12.

Johnny Gargano would want to capitalize on tonight’s Raw in Cleveland

Tonight’s Raw will roll through the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland. The venue serves as host to one-half of The DIY, Johnny Gargano. Last time around, when Raw was held in town, Gargano wasn’t booked on the show.

It was such a bummer for the fans in attendance who were expecting to get a glimpse of their hometown hero. However, it was not to be. There would not be a better place for Johnny Gargano to deliver a stellar showing in front of his people than tonight.

Last week, he and Tommaso Ciampa got the better of Imperium in a two-out-of-three falls match. It would be interesting to see what Triple H has up his sleeves for Gargano and Ciampa. They’ve had a couple of herculean outings on the red brand ever since getting back on the same page.
